Comments and Reviews YankeeDisc SUBS18th Sep 2014 ...I have this double album bought in UK, maybe 1971/1972, cannot be exactly sure.
It has the same sleeve pictures and those orange labels, but the printing of catalogue numbers differs slightly.
Spine of double album gatefold sleeve: (0698) STBB-701 (0698) = $6.98 retail.
Fun, Fun, Fun - Side 1: SF-702 with underneath STBB-701

Would I be correct in assuming that my US copy is a standard Capitol issue, and not a record club variant, and does it need a new entry? W.B.lbl 29th Jun 2014 And one other thing . . . from my past research at Sony Music vaults, the colors used for this label were Pantone 171 (orange) and 465 (tan). W.B.lbl 28th Jun 2014 Oh, most certainly (and post-1975 at that) . . . a shame they couldn't get the license for The Beatles' catalogue . . . can you imagine an SMAS-502653 issue of Sgt. Pepper for example . . . or Abbey Road on SO-500383 . . . or Meet The Beatles! on ST-502047 . . . or an SWBO-500101 of the "White" album . . . or the "Red" and "Blue" albums on SKBO-503403 and SKBO-503404, respectively . . . ? BEATLEJOHN 27th Jun 2014 Hey WB...Columbia Record Club???...........John
