You're comparing apples and oranges - your previous query and Fokeman's reply related only to that album's title. Copyright dates are a separate concept entirely, and have a particular meaning in law, the phonographic copyright year (the letter P in a circle) is the year that the recording was first released in the country where it was first released, so something that was first released in the USA in, say, December 1964 might not make it to the UK or other countries until early 1965 (or even later), but those countries' releases should still show (P) 1964. Furthermore, any subsequent reissue of that album should still show (P) 1964, even if it is issued in 2020 (record companies have been known to get this wrong on occasion, but those mistakes help to accurately date those reissues).
It's funny that I asked recently about another Vinyl Album on here and my question was "Should the title for this album be "In The Realm Of Asgærd" as on the front cover or "In The Realm Of Asgard" as on the label?" to which Fokeman replied "We usually go by label!". What is the difference in this case, if you usually go by the label then dates on all these Beach Boys albums are wrong
Copyright dates on labels and sleeves are not necessarily release dates, especially for editions released outside an album's country of origin, and in fact this one should be July 1965, not June, because the date code 6507 appears on the bottom of the back cover.
