Vinyl Album
Notes The Hearts and Flowers was a country-folk style band of which the members Larry Murray (vocals, guitar), Dave Dawson (vocals, guitar, autoharp) and Rick Cunha (vocals, guitar) wanted to perform country music in a style similar to that of Hoyt Axton and Merle Haggard, but were unable due to the fact that the producers wanted these members to sing country rock music. This band is one of the most significant groups of the 1960s era that had help launch the career of Eagles' founding member and guitarist-songwriter, Bernie Leadon, who was a founding member of the Eagles. Sadly, this record did not sell well, but the music of this group had influenced musicians, such as the Allman brothers to professionally and proseperously perform country-style music.
