Agree with Roger, a strange, almost pointless re-release. I must admit though, I like this cover much better than the previous release and pretty sure the photo is in London.
This has the same track listing as the June 1964 U.S. Motown release "Mary Wells Sings My Guy", which I see from other discographies got released in The U.K. as simply "My Guy" on E.M.I's Stateside label in 1964. Given that "My Guy" was a huge U.K. hit (#5 in the early summer of 1964) it seems strange to me that U.K. Tamla-Motown/E.M.I. changed the title..
Yes, you're right. It's pretty safe to say 1965 so I've changed it. By the look of the number, it's one of the first batch (they released a batch of 45s, EPs and LPs all at once, in March 1965) - but a good source would be nice. I'd bet March or April.
