Fokeman ● 24th Apr 2020		With respect, neither Transatlantic nor XTRA were budget labels. There are some very rare and expensive records on both labels and although they both reissued blues and jazz records from Prestige and Folkways (as well as distributing both when they were otherwise unavailable in the UK), no one could consider them to be budget labels for their price or quality at the time or since. XTRA was of course, the subsidiary label of Transatlantic itself with the TRA in XTRA being the prefix of Transatlantic.
