Tower records appear to have marketed two series of catalog numbers, each with a "TWL" prefix. From the scant information available, the three-figure series would appear to be devoted to pirated editions of Japanese compilations, and the four-figure range to copies of USA albums. Several releases have been located in 'standard' TOWER RECORDS sleeves employing its logo of a tower, somewhat similar to that of the former Hollywood movie makers RKO Radio and, where no picture sleeve can be confirmed, have been so credited. At least one item has been established as being contained in a picture sleeve as well as the Tower Records variety.

Same content as JAPAN LP NIPPON COLUMBIA YS 5028 but supplied in a standard Tower Record sleeve.
