This disc of 33.33 rpm concerns a pianist named Maurice Medoc who is almost unknown in the United States even though Mr. Medoc had recorded this disc in New York City. Mr. Medoc totally focuses on playing colorful music of which his tunes deal with the Paris scenery and the Parisian ganache, which is a glazed sauce or filling that is used for pastries made from chocolate and cream.

Mr. Medoc, who was musically educated at the Paris Conservatoire, had taken a vacation to NYC where he had the rare occasion that he recorded in a US recording studio to promote his musical style to Americans who enjoyed French tunes.

Althought the foto of this front jacket resembles a caffe house in Paris, this foto was actually taken at the Cafe Brittany in New York City simply because this foto reminded Mr. Medoc of the provincial atmosphere of his native village which is located near the Garonne river.
