Notes

This disc of 33.33 rpm is compiled of old blues and popular standard tunes which were made into latin-style music to which one does the swing, the cha cha and other latin-style dances. Luis Barreiro conducted this orchestra and many other orchestras that play southern european types of dance music.

Although many tourists enjoyed visiting Havanna of which this city was tropically decorated, had neon lights flashing and was one of the most desirable vacation sites where one could listen to various types of latin-style jazz and swing, such night life is almost non-existent due to the fact that sinister Castro had eliminated the wealth and prosperity that Cuba had before he conquered this land and overthrew Battista in 1959.
