Love Potion No. 9 is the album version that ends with "love potion #10". In 1959 that version took over in radio play over the single version which just repeated the last verse.
The cover claims that this is the first ever compilation of hits by various artists.

EMB2014 24th Sep 2017		Well, it was just hyperbole; of course this wasn't the first 'oldies' comp though it was apparently UA's first, taken from its own masters. Someone just wanted us to think it was something unique and a big deal.
