Notes

Pasquale “Pat Cooper” Caputo is a comedian who started comedy performances in front of italo-americano audiences in the 1950s. In 1963, Mr. Caputo earned his big break when he did comedy skits by means of the Jackie Gleason show. Consequently, Mr. Caputo, played at various comedy clubs and hotels in Las Vegas and Atlantic City and had also performed with renowned comedians, such as Franco Sinatra, Giacomo Durante, Antonio Di Benedetto and Sergio Franchi.

This is the third United Artists disc of Pasquale “Pat Cooper” thru which he makes listeners and spectators of all diverse ethnic backgrounds laugh. This disc was recorded at the Town and Country Café in the Bronx. Additionally, Mr. Caputo had thanked Harold Johnson, who had engineered the comedic tapes and the spectators who attended this Bronx cafe. Also, Mr. Caputo had thanked the Supreme Men’s Shop in Broadway, which had tailored his suit for this comedic event, and had thanked the Hero City of Seventh Avenue, which had provided the giant grinder that Mr. Caputo holds by means of the front jacket of this disc. Furthermore, Mr. Caputo was very thankful that his dentist had his teeth ready so that Mr. Caputo could have his photo taken and be placed on the front jacket, and lastly had thanked Mel Mandel and Norman Sachs, who had composed You Don’t Have To Be Italiano and Conchetta.

Sadly, this disc did not sell to the level that the Our Hero and the Spaghetti Sauce and Other Delights had sold. However, this was the final disc of Pasquale “Pat Cooper” Caputo that was both monaurally and stereofonically issued in the United States.
