This disc of 33.33 rpm contains twelve tunes that were sung in the Devil's Brigade, which was a joint American-Canadian commando unit that was the First Special Service of the Armed Forces. Also, all the tunes of this disc were composed by Alex North.

Even though most of the United Artists discs of 33.33 rpm were stereofonically issued, this UA disc was one of the final United Artist discs that was both monaurally and stereofonically issued in both the United States and Canada.
