Vinyl Album
Notes This disc has a unique place in the history of discs of 33 rpm due to the fact that this disc is unofficially called part 1 of the music of the film "I Want To Live" and that the LP that follows is part 2 of the music, of which is performed by the Gerri Mulligan and the Jazz Combo, of the film "I Want To Live". Furthermore, this disc of 33 rpm was the first United Artists disc that was initially issued by means of the new 4000 digit catalog system of the monaural discs of red labels that contained white print characters and the first ever 5000 digit catalog system of the discs stereofonic of blue labels that contained the same print characters and indicated "STEREO" on the blue label discs. Even though these United Artists discs, UAL-40003 and UAL-40004 originally had the five digit catalog numbers when they were issued in 1958, both these discs were reissued in 1959 with the catalog numbers UAL-4003 and UAL-4004 around the time that the UAL-4005 disc was first released. Also these two reissued monaural discs were stereofonically released with the catalog #s UAS-5003 and UAS-5004.
