This disc of 33.33 rpm concerns Rex Stewart who conducts the former band mates of Fletcher Henderson who influenced Stewart to advance the big swing and jazz music to the level where Stewart not only professionally played such music, but he also developed various new styles of jazz that is still popular. The A3 medley tune is composed of three different tunes that were mixed for this particular tune due to the fact that all these three tunes were composed by diverse authors. However, the Georgia Sketches tune is not but one tune but contains three diverse movements that were all composed just for this song.
