| | I was surprised by the quality of the vinyl with this... it's not exactly a monster, but a fairly solid piece of plastic nonetheless.
(Given the apparent cheapness of the cover, and, If I'm honest, the kind of music it was, I expected a skinny piece of floppery inside).
But it is a great album too!
Whiskey And Wine is a real corker (It's going on my list next to Blodwyn Pig's Sing Me A Song That I Know in my songs of the month!), and Summertime Is Calling could also feature heavily in your soundtrack to the summer. |

| | I use ICE for all mine.
But it sits in the corner and cries if you have a plain sleeve like this, with nothing squaring with anything else on the cover.
(I don't know how to post images on forums, but I've got a very weird psychedelic swirl of an image that ICE made when trying to do the Lindisfarne cover a little while back, made of a few 45 labels, a couple of DVD covers, and Lord only knows what else!) |

| | Hi MM, Some time back, nboldock recommended Microsoft's ICE to me(ICE = Image Composite Editor) Bloody great programme! Made preparing my LP covers so much easier. All you do is scan your cover in four sections and ICE stitches it all together automatically. It's a snap! |

| | A difficult front cover to scan and assemble, as there are no straight line reference points at right angles to anything else in the design, except the base of the "1"... but even this is not printed on the cover parallel with the bottom of the sleeve.
(not to mention the edges of the sleeve are not at perfect right angles to each other!)
But I used the base of the "1" as the reference, straightening each of the four scans according to that, then stitching them together, then straightening the whole thing up after to look like the actual cover. |
