 I don't know if this has been discussed before, but, what exactly is that animal on the front cover??, (if, indeed it's real, and not been photoshopped of course).
It looks like an ape of some kind?, bi pedal maybe?, anyhow, i've not seen anything like it before.
Anyone know?

 This has been discussed over at 12" (albums were not fully operational then). This is definitely an album, it has a cat# from Virgin's LP range and also was promoted as album then (reviews in NME etc.). At the time is was becoming quite a marketing ploy to have "albums" spread out over several smaller format units (see also Spandau Ballet or BEF, a.o.), or sometimes the other way around, album length on 12" cat#s and price range.
