This was the last album issued by Vanguard from John,who left the label for Atlantic Records.He returned to Vanguard 10 years later,in 1976,and cut 3 albums before again departing.This album was made up from tracks left over from his first 4 Vanguard albums i.e."John Hammond", "Big City Blues", "So Many Roads", "Country Blues".
