checkm8 2nd Jul 2016		Sorry I missed the question about patent numbers in the deadwax. There are patent numbers in the deadwax, as follows: US PAT # RE 23,946 GB PAT # 713,418



W.B.lbl 10th Jan 2016		Very first pressings, besides having the orangeish yellow in the WB shield logo and the "33⅓" box, would have been mastered at the same New York studio (Sound Makers, 6 West 57th, in the same building that would later house Arista Records), no doubt with engineer Bill Schwartau involved. As well, {Images #942321 & 942322} appears to look like a Research Craft pressing if the pressing ring is of any indication (are there patent numbers stamped in the deadwax? that's a clue). Later on, as the record gained in popularity, pressings were made by Columbia with lacquers cut from tape dubs at Columbia's Hollywood studios.
