Yeah Phil, I know but it's difficult to tell it is UK specific from my neck of the woods isn't it? The label should be Chiswick though shouldn't it? I got this through the States where it was an import already before I moved it further from home.
Hi Lee, as far as I know, Ace group releases are only officially released in the UK, and the "Made in EU" is just an EU-mandated requirement that any product made in any EU member country should bear that marking, even if only distributed in one country. However, if anyone knows that Ace actually do licence their product to one or more European companies, please advise.
(Nor does "Made in EU" mean that it is only available in the EU either, as many thousands of European pressings have been distributed outside Europe by the overseas branches of their parent companies, but you should all know my feelings on that subject by now!).
Alright a full set of scans up for this Chiswick (not Ace as listed) EU (not UK) release. Both labels and sleeve list "made in the EU" nowhere is it stated that this is a UK release. So, I'll send another correction for these two mistakes. See scans for evidence.
This is on the Chiswick label and not Ace as listed here. It was manufactured by Ace but is still on the Chiswick label. The label is the same version of Chiswick label as the original release with the Record player arm on the right hand side. I'll post some scans soon to show this is the case.
