Good job identifying this as Malaysian. It's certainly an oddity. I find these Asian releases quite fascinating for some reason, though of course nobody needs that many Seekers tracks...

I'm just listening to this and it's absolutely bloody awful. The version of Both Sides Now must be the worst ever made!

I've found reference to other records in this series which was Malaysian and not necessarily a bootleg in that most Malaysian issues were unofficial but not necessarily illegal. Illegality depends on the status of the object in the country in which it was issued. I don't think Malaysia had copyright laws at the time that this was issued.

Festival & Rex (Malaysia) used exactly the same logo and were probably the same outfit.

Bootleg folk compilation on "Festival" label which is no relation to the well-known Aussie label of the same name.

Almost certainly originates from the Far East (I obtained it with some other Asian boots) but country of origin is unknown.

I can't find any trace of this record on the internet whatsoever.

Sound quality is good, and the tracklisting has one or two highlights as well, to be fair.

Images to follow.
