bill mann 13th Jan 2015		Just as an afterthought RC, Is it the top line on the front sleeve that made your spec-savers moment ? It certainly gave me one.



Neil Forbes 12th Jan 2015		I don't think it's a matter of right or wrong, Bill, it's a matter of planning when an album is compiled in order to provide a degree of variety in the programme as it plays. How fortunate are we now that, with the aid of a computer, we can compile and burn our own CD compilations in whichever configuration we desire. In the days of vinyl, you only had the compact cassette to record what you wanted and had to pick the order you wanted as you recorded each track in succession. With the CD and various burning programmes, you load in the disc and open the file folder where you've stored your wanted tracks, and as you create your "playlist", you can shuffle the tracks until you've got your desired order, then burn your disc. Technology sure is marvellous, ain't it?

Neil Forbes 12th Jan 2015		No, this isn't one of those "should've gone to spec-savers" moments, R.C. This is just an example of poor planning when compiling an album.

Neil Forbes 12th Jan 2015		The album is badly planned. Artists or groups should NOT appear on consecutive tracks. For example Tracks A4 and A5 should've been A3 and A4 to provide a buffer between the two Bo Toliver tracks, A6 and A9 should've been slotted in between the two Bobbie & Boobie tracks. Keep an artist or group's tracks separated by two other different artists' or groups' tracks. Spread the tracks around!
