LaurenceD SUBS 9th Apr 2022		Some differences in track titles between cover & labels; I used the cover titles, which seemed more correct. Billboard Dec 24, 1966, p.50: "A 'Special' Way of Selling": "... This World Pacific release had virtually no sales throughout the country until Pellegrini and Nordstrand [WFMT Chicago] began playing a cut called Plastic Jesus ..." I don't know about Chicago, but growing up in the Los Angeles area, I recall that some time after this release (can't remember just when), it seemed like a lot of folks were singing that "Plastic Jesus" song. I guess that some local radio station had played it... BTW listening to this again, it sounds like these guys just borrowed the melody from Woody's "Oklahoma Hills" refrain.
