Neil Forbes 25th Sep 2015		This may be another American-processed LP for the British market as generally, American product for their own market doesn't carry the same copyright notice as you'd see on British, Euro English-language, Aussie or NZ issues. As to this album, it could've worked better if spread across two discs with 6 tracks per side, then there would be no need to edit them down to fit such a congested format as this.

Neil Forbes 21st Dec 2014		There was quite a lot of good stuff over the four sides of that compilation, but there was a lot of "chaff among the wheat", so yes, if you take out that "chaff" it would come down to a pretty-good single LP compilation, but what to leave in and what to take out? For me, Donna Fargo's Funny Face would cop the chop for too much sop(ha, I rhymed!) but it's all to do with taste!

Neil Forbes 21st Dec 2014		I think you might be right, R.C. I have the LP in question, I think it(Australian LP) had a brown cover with a large cowboy hat and photos of the featured artists superimposed within its outline. The first volume was simply "20 Country Greats, then by Volume two, became "Town & Country Greats" which lasted until Volume 5, then they dropped the "Town & Country" tag altogether after that.

That's something the moderator may need to address as some time or other, hopefully soon.
