Michael Warre SUBS 22nd Sep 2018		S. Vining is Steve Vining who produced the "Chipmunk Punk" for Bagdasarian Productions on this same Excelsior label. He was the singing voice of Theodore on Chipmunk Punk, later in Chipmunk films he was the singing voice for Simon. Shirley, Squirrelly & Melvin originally known as the "Nutty Squirrels" which became a TV cartoon show in 1960, before the Chipmunks, after their hits "Uh-Oh (Part 1)" peaking at #45 on the Billboard Chart, later "Uh-Oh (Part 2)" peaking at #14 in 1959. Recordings by the group were released on Hanover, Columbia & RCA. In 1976 Bob Milsap resurrected the act, at first with a novelty single based on the current CB citizens band radio craze, "Hey Shirley (This Is Squirrely)", and followed by two albums, per Wikipedia. These records, most shown as Shirley and Squirrelly, were released GRT & Mabel. Not a Rip-Off & Not out-takes.
