 I think I'd heard the term that each track had a 'locked groove'?!? I have a promotional Stan Freberg album with locked grooves here.

 Another curiosity: all the tracks are separate. I mean, the record needs to be played track by track, picking up the needle between each title to go over the empty spaces, as they do not lead forward.

 Interesting point on this record is the last 4 tracks which were by Gene Vincent, and they were not released as a single in the US - well they did appear, but only on the 2 very limited promo singles, sides numbered from PRO 2274 to PRO 2277. Well...
Looking at the catalogue numbers here: could it be that the PRO numbering continued without making a difference between 7" (45rpm) and 12" (33rpm) release? Or just a coincidence? Let's see if there is other evidence.
(edit: Answering to myself - yes, they seem to have the same numbering system regardless of the format.)
