 I don't know what is going on here in terms of track credits. These are traditional sea-shanties so the idea that they were written by the artists is completely false. My first thought is that the name after the track on the label is who is actually performing the song, but since my copy is not close at hand I can't check it...

I suspect that the name after the track is the "arranger credit" as I am quite certain that, at no point, did MacColl, Lloyd or Peggy Seeger ever claim to have written these songs. Indeed if you look at the information on the sleeve notes they tell the reader where the songs come from and where they were collected.
