Break-In Master 12th Apr 2022		Did ALL the British copies have the exact same ring wear? When I first bought mine, slightly used (about 30 years ago), I thought it was just because the previous owner (probably a punker) did that but, I've seen a few of them here and pictured on YT this past week with pretty much the exact same rings, if not THEE EXACT same rings.



Break-In Master 12th Apr 2022		yvetot-bocage: Todd Rundgren. As my singer one said, Todd & Elvis were having contests to see who could fit more songs on an album. Todd did it 5 years before Elvis.

Lee Wrecker 30th Aug 2016		I agree with Janie on this one, this album was a disappointment. My eagerly anticipated copy was traded away within a fortnight of release. The first three songs on Side Two are all great but with so much filler anything that was great on the album had a difficult job getting noticed due the sheer amount of songs on the album. Sure some are classic Costello but the album is more an exercise in what is possible, cramming 20 songs on an LP rather than a cohesive LP. The sound restrictions caused by amount of content are also an issue. A case of a good idea but it didn't come off. I have never regretted selling my copy of this one.

janiejjones 14th Feb 2014		This was very disappointing at the time, cause due to filling it to the brim with songs, it is rather low in sound, specially the voice is far back.
