This was the first Splinter LP after leaving Dark Horse Records, and the duo's 4th overall. It was released by Columbia Records in Japan only. In the UK, a track from the LP, Danger Zone was released as a single on Barn Records, a record label established by the English musician, record producer and manager Chas Chandler, with a non-LP B-side entitled Swear To God.

The album was released for the first time on CD, and including bonus tracks, in April 2018.
