Eddie Harris - BiographyMr. Eddie Harris was a tenor saxophonist who introduced the electrically amplified saxophone. One composition, which was Freedom Jazz Dance, was recorded and popularized by Miles Davis in 1966. The other composition, which was Listen Here, was a national success by means of the rhythm and blues hit parade and a moderate success by means of the Billboard hit parade of popular songs. Furthermore, Listen Here and the tune Theme In Search Of A Movie were issued by means of the Atlantic 45-2487 disc of 45 rpm shortly after this disc of 33.33 rpm was released. « Back to Discography Edit This Biography : Biography Credits
