Herb Alpert Y Su Tijuana Brass - BiographyHerb Alpert y su Tijuana brass is one of the many nicknames/translations for Herb Alpert’s group. Formed with the creation of A&M records, Herb Alpert & The Tijuana Brass made many successful records, and that didn’t omite Spanish talking countries, such as Argentina, Chile or Peru, and Spain. In Latin America, A&M recordings were promoted by Fermata, a local Argentinian label which cross many countries, which includes Chile, Brazil and Uruguay. Still, in the finishing years of 60s, in Latin America, more specific in Argentina, A&M records label was introduced, letting Fermata years behind.
