Ivan Romanoff - BiographyA Canadian conductor of chorale and orchestral groups, and a violinist. He performed in Canadian media from the 1950s to seventies. His first exposure was leading a group in a Russian musical scene in the 1946 film Meet The Navy. He had regular weekly shows on CBC radio, and occasional TV specials. The music was international in character, and so were his singers. His ethnicity was half Ukrainian and half Polish. He chose Romanoff as his show name. His first wife was an ethnic Russian, his third Ukrainian - Lesia Zubrack, one of his featured soloists.
