Nancy Ames - BiographyNancy was born in 1937 as Nancy Hamilton Alfaro to a Washington DC society family, which was involved in diplomacy and government. Partially of Panamanian ancestry, a grandfather was president of Panama in 1931-32. She recorded for Liberty and Epic in the 1960s, but was not a hit-maker.
