Nash Chase - Biography

  

Nash Chase began singing at the age of six and came from a family of eighteen brothers and sisters, all musical. In 1970 he recorded an album for Ode Records, with the Hi-Revving Tongues providing the backing, and had a top 10 hit with the single 'What Greater Love'. He won a television talent contest called Studio One in 1971 and recorded an album for EMI in1972. This was reissued in the 'Portrait Of' series, with two extra tracks, in 1974 and produced two minor hits, 'Today I Killed A Man I Didn't Know' and 'Midnight Magic Man'. Nash and his wife relocated to Australia in February 1973.
