The Irish Rovers - BiographyCanadian folk music (also country-rock) group formed in Toronto in 1963 by several Irish-born musicians. Rose to popularity in the late 1960s with their hit single "The Unicorn" and numerous TV appearances. Reinvented themselves as The Rovers in the 1980s as a country-rock group with a major hit, "Wasn't That a Party" but eventually reverted back to their original branding.
