Tommy Adderley - BiographyAlthough he was born in Birmingham, England, Tommy Adderley's music career is associated exclusively with New Zealand where he arrived in 1956. In 1965 he released his only solo album although he did release singles and EPs and appeared on the Peter Posa Live show LPs for Viking, but he was a regular on television, particularly on the NZBC pop show "C'mon". His greatest achievement was the creation of Headband, a blues/rock outfit who released two excellent albums and a handful of singles in the 1970s.
