Carpenters - The Singles 1969-1973		@Ade agreed; but is that extra (30 sec.-ish) beginning from 'Close To You'; and is it on all versions?

Elton John - La Grande Storia Del Rock		Apart from different keyboards and musicians on each version, this cd seems to be very '72/ 73/'74 centric, apart from 'Pigeon and 'Pilot - oh and Tiny Dancer. Big clue though is early b- side times about 3.34 mins and GYBRd version at 4.00 ish; as shown in cover scan here.
