vinyljunky2 18th Aug 2021 | | Vinyl AlbumJohn Zacherle - Monster Mash Featuring John Zacherle | I now have 2 different copies of this Lp on Parkway both with Catalogue: P-7018 and both copies Mono.
The more common copy has (on both sides) small bands cut between all of the credited tracks (except A3 & A4) featuring sound effects. Engraved in the plastic on the centre of play-out is dated 9/18/62.
For the 2nd copy the engraving on the B side centre is the date 9/12/62.
On the A side is engraved the date 9/18/62 (as per on the more common release).
Side A of this copy has the small bands cut between all of the credited tracks (except A4).
Side B has no bands cut on any of the tracks, thus no sound effects.
This being an earlier attempt by John Zacherle at the songs on side B and has different vocals (in a more Karloff sounding voice) and music arrangement on tracks B1, B2, B3, & B5.
I am now on the search for a phantom copy in Stereo (Scareo), (Wonder if I ever will find a copy?) and if so, this will make a third release of the same LP just on Parkway.

John sings this more in his Karloff voice and not his own, thank you.
