Magic Marmalade 4th Oct 2024		12" Single The Turtles - The Turtles (1978)	I think a new entry is required for the black vinyl issue... it has the "A" at the end of cat number, on both sides of the labels, so is part of cat number, rather than indicating sides a and b, and so is different from pic disc. (Have removed this cat number from this listing)

I have, for now, given the overall title of the disc, and changed the header for side one appropriately... ... all that is needed now is a list of medley tracks for each track field - you could post here in comments appropriately formatted, and I'll edit the tracks in the entry from that.

It seems to me then, based on your comments, and in so far as I can deduce it, this is a later vinyl pressing of an earlier shellac 78 (recording) (And the 45) in order to update and preserve the recording in archives - like when a new master tape or something is made - to preserve the recording in it's then current state, but on more modern / new material. As such, it seems to me personally, to be rightly present here on 12" singles, as the item itself, satisfies the criteria, even if the original recording and any releases may have been 78 / 45 (If no official release was issued after the original 78 /45 issue, I don't think this would alter the facts for this specific item) Perhaps, if the 78 / 45 issues are on site, best policy would just be to make a link between them in notes for each item, so the 78 and / or 45 pages would simply state in notes that this exists, and here's where you can find it. But I'm personally happy for this to remain here.

Magic Marmalade 23rd Sep 2022		12" Single The Smiths - This Charming Man New York (Vocal) (1983)	I've added the month of October to this, so that it's order in the Smiths discography comes after the other version, as per correction request. By making them the same month, the system refers then to the additional complications in the cat numbering to sort them as desired... It may not be the right month for this, but I did it this way as that's the only tool mods have to make this happen (We can't just move one item before the other manually, it works by means of a logical algorithm / determination). So if the month is wrong, and a more accurate date can be given, I'll alter it then :)
Magic Marmalade 21st Sep 2022		12" Single Johnny Panic And The Bible Of Dreams - Johnny Panic And The Bible Of Dreams (Mix One) (1991)	I've added this artist as a pseudonym of Tears For Fears, and added a note and link inthis artist summary, as it is in fact them, and this, in fact, is a reworked Tears For Fears song (elements, at least) of Sowing The Seeds Of Love (I have the 7" of this). (This artist name, incidentally, is taken from a collection of short stories by Sylvia Plath)

Did you cut the label out of the record, or is the vinyl that colour (s)? Seem the label is sitting on top of the background, as opposed to poking through a hole in the record sleeve.
Magic Marmalade 29th Mar 2022		12" Single Mikey Dread - Reggae Hit Shot (1984)	OK chaps, what I've done is change an existing version of the label name under Europe flag from: Virgin / DEP International to just: DEP International ...So it squares with the others, I've changed this item to that European label, and gathered all DEP International labels together as a group, so if you click on the label above here, you'll see all versions (nations) of that label alongside it, that way they can be easily sorted through, in case any need moving from one country to another. (There is one item listed as Germany, but it has no images).
