Love With Arthur Lee @ Royal Festival Hall
very disappointing DVD, its one of those where it fades to black and no sound between each song. How is it that idiots get these jobs?

Live Music
Spiritualized @ The Astoria
Surprise guests were Suicide who came on for Spiritualized's encore (backed by them).

Live Music
Stereophonics @ The Camden Falcon
The Stereophonics seemed to be quite disgruntled, maybe cos it was such a small venue (and I'm not sure if the gents had been demolished by then to double the standing room).

Live Music
Gorky's Zygotic Mynci @ Union Chapel
This gig was originally set for 26 May but got moved, (safety problems with the church roof).

Live Music

Dianne Swann of BBM is a big name in New Zealand, she has been in quite a few bands: Everything that Flies, When The Cats Away, The Julie Dolphin with Brett Adams and who are now The Bads,

Super Furry Animals @ Shepherd's Bush Empire
SFA held their positions on stage - each man below a giant thought bubble onto which images were projected.

Live Music
Coldplay @ The Camden Falcon
Ultra Montanes were the headliners, Coldplay were first on I think. Didn't they bring their ironing board?

Live Music
Man Or Astro-Man? @ The Garage
Man or Astro-man?'s stage crew had to wear de-contamination suits when setting up their gear lest they catch some cosmic radiation. Or something.

Grandaddy @ Astoria 2
Grandaddy decorated the stage with large potted plants.

Vinyl Album
Rolling Stones - Let It Bleed
In Record Collector 238 page 142 there is a picture of a custom pressing made for some record company bigwig who wanted something special. The picture is in black and white but is described as a multi-coloured vinyl pressing which has a yellow cross dividing sections in green, blue and red.

Strangled
Strangled volume 2 began when Tony Moon gave up producing it. Tony went on to form the band Motor Boys Motor (with members of The Small Brothers) and when he gave that up after 1 LP and 1 single, the remaining band members became The Screaming Blue Messiahs.

Volume 1 No 1 is just 6 sheets of paper and probably took them all of a couple of hours to knock it out, hardly worth bothering with. Spelling and layout mistakes all over the place.

Magazine
Record Collector and The Beatles Book
I sold a copy on ebay a few months back, it went for just over £4. Very poor response for the issues that actually sold, all start prices of 0.99, the ones with Beatles Books were the only ones getting bids, nothing reached £5.

CD Album
Bob Dylan - Blonde On Blonde
The red channel always suffers with jpegs, its something thats technically flawed in the design and its unlikely you'll get better results on rescanning.

12" Single
Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's Dead
It was widely available on catalogue for years, then it disappeared for a short while, when it reappeared it was in a multitude of coloured vinyls. I think the early pressings are the ones that didn't have a spine, black vinyl of course.

Bauhaus - Ziggy Stardust
Party Of The First Part uses extensive dialogue samples from The Devil And Daniel Mouse
