DVD
Eurotrash - Network
It looks like all appearances of Mr Methane have been cut from this set, and perhaps all of The Amazing Randy (magician).
I have some old recordings on VHS tape which have clips not present in this boxset, however there is still a huge amount of mirthsomeness to be viewed here.

Various Artists - Burning Ambitions (A History Of Punk)
This is a good selection/mix of the 'punk' records that we used to listen to in the UK, before those who re-write the history of punk told us what they reckoned we listened to.
The compilation was released in 1982 when punk was still fresh in people's minds, and although Cherry Red could not license some of the big names eg Sex Pistols, Clash, Siouxsie, (as confirmed in the sleeve notes), they did a good job picking out titles that were mostly released independently and probably had a bigger influence on the young bands that followed.

Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin
I finally had the opportunity to do a side by side comparison of the original turquoise/cyan cover with a later 1970s pressing, see the new pic. Thank you to Ben at The Little Record Shop for allowing me to take pics.
My idea was to use photoshop to analyse colouring on the back cover sepia style photo, to see if cyan is in the mix. Unfortunately results were inconclusive, cyan registers very low on selected areas of both covers and may only be there due to the lighting when the pics were taken.
However, you may be interested to see how far the image degraded after only a few years. On the original cyan sleeve the back cover (right) has a nicely clear and detailed image, whereas on the later pressing (mid 1970s) the image is faded and lacking in detail.
On my own early pressing the back photo image looks identical to that on the cyan sleeve, it is clear and detailed, ...which is a disappointment as I was hoping to see at least some degradation in the quality.

TV
The Banana Splits (1968 - 1970)
The British version differs to the USA version with different running times per episode, they might have chopped the segments and rearranged them into different shows, There were a lot of comments about this on Amazon when the series first got issued on dvd.

In case you are not aware, there is a Banana Splits horror movie which was made a few years back. The lovable bunch are now animatronics which go on the rampage after learning that their show is to be axed. I don't think it was a successful transition.
