My copy has the disc made in EU and the digipak sleeve printed in USA, with the exact same Cat # and Barcode as the Europe edition

U2 - Pop
@Lee Wrecker: maybe I didn't make it clear, but this version - which I believe to be a UK release and not an European release, and have requested a revision to change this - does not have the censor bleep.

My sleeve is # 142097. No idea how many there were

U2 - Pop
MADE IN THE UK BY PMDC is printed on the matrix area
The difference between the UK edition and the European, USA and Malaysian versions can be determined on Track 12, where at 23 seconds there is bleep inserted over Bono's swearword.

Passengers - Original Soundtracks 1
Perhaps the Notes should read: Tracks from imaginary films - as none of them exist.
Considering the sleeve notes include what the individual members of U2 are doing, it's hardly just an Eno/Bono project? - which it patently isn't given that The Edge is very obviously all over it - in case anyone is actually listening...
But considering only 1 other person actually owns this original UK released copy, I can only assume that many have only heard this on the completely useless mp3 format.

What's the scan of the disc from an unknown country doing here?
The only UK release in 1988 is the one shown here with the silver band

U2 - The Joshua Tree
I bought this copy several years after its release (my original copy being ruined by these early in-car CD players with the teeth grips).
It's stamped Made in U.K. and suffers from the bronzing that some of my other Island CD's by Marley and Martyn also have.

Tina Turner - Simply The Best
@Juke Jules: I think it would be difficult to get Terje Rypdal anywhere near a mere Pop music record!

@Leonard: Aren't you the one who is the Moderator here?
I had originally made this entry.
I would have got the credit for it, correct?
Then you come along and mess it up, correct?
I said you need to to fix what you made a mistake with.
But that does not mean you taking the credit for that - that is wrong and down right fraudulent, isn't it?
I don't need or want your apology - I do need your corrective action - and that does not include taking credit for something you have absolutely no right to receive credit for.
You need to put everything back exactly as it was, including my credit.
What part of this do you not understand?

@leonard: Lacked images? I haven't done ANY images as yet. I'm way too busy entering the details of the CD's which takes some time as most of my stuff isn't mainstream and I've had to list about 60% of it so far, and have omitted listing over 1,000 bootlegs because I just can't be bothered listing them - nobody else owns them anyway, and they're not ever likely too either, so what's the point.
Yes, I will get around to scanning everything that needs scanning in good time.

Bob Dylan - Tempest
@leonard: To be honest, I think it's your responsibility to sort this mess out as it was all of your own making. I've no idea what you had right first time round, and if it was, why didn't you just leave it that way? But seriously Leonard, I'm really not taking the time and trouble to carefully enter all this stuff for somebody to come along and mess with it. That REALLY pisses me off big time.

@leonard. no, I don't own this copy (I generally avoid all this kind of ephemeral packaging stuff that has got nothing to do with the music) - I own the copy that I had listed - wherever that is now.
I confirmed which copy I have and it isn't this.
I do have this:
Cat #: 88725457602
Barcode: 887254576020

I certainly don't see this same barcode above here?

Considering they were on 3rd, it wouldn't have been early in the morning. Also, the music starts starts later on Sundays.

Bob Dylan - Masterpieces
Why the Netherlands? The only European territory this would have sold in any numbers would be the UK. But that's a no-brainer.
This was sold for full retail price and generally available upon release from Tower Records, which is where I bought it. It may very well have had an Import sticker on the cellophane wrap.
But who would keep that for evidence 26 years later?

This International stuff is a load of nonsense. Who cares where a disc is sold outwith its intended market.
By the logic being applied here - If it was a UK release, but got sold in Australia, it's somehow deemed as International.
However, if it was an Australian release, but also sold in UK - and to be deemed as International requires to have an Import sticker - otherwise remains as Australian - how does that figure?
Does the presence of a sticker make that decision? Surely not!
This Australian nonsense is completely screwing the whole thing up.
What about all the USA manufactured discs that are sold in Canada - why aren't they being labelled as International?
The sooner this International and for that matter European category nonsense gets lost the better.
The only thing that matters is the original heritage of the disc.

Steeleye Span - Hark! The Village Wait
One of the best Folk albums ever made.
Gay Woods was a far superior singer than the celebrated Sandy Denny, (as was Maddy Prior, too) and didn't have Denny's bad habit of dropping her voice on the last word of every line. Gay sang through the words and basically owned the songs.
Gerry Conway: Drums 2,3,5,6,7,8
Dave Mattacks: Drums 4,10,11,12

But ridiculous that such a huge company can't designate just one person to proof read the typing pool.

Spirit - Twelve Dreams Of Dr. Sardonicus
These days being 1996
This album didn't originally come out on Ode, and was the 1st one on Epic in US and UK.
So perhaps the Ode logo on the CD is a production mistake?
It also had nothing to do with Lou Adler (head of Ode) as it was produced by David Briggs.

Careless entry: Cat #: ACA 8095. [Mod: corrected]
