Break-In Master 31st May 2018		Vinyl Album Dickie Goodman - Mr. Jaws And Other Fables By Dickie Goodman	I don't know what you mean by "not known". I saw this record a lot when it first came out! If you look through used records store bins under his name, you'll find this Dickie Goodman album WAY more than any others he did. "Mr. Jaws" was his biggest hit and all you have to do is look it up on YouTube to see that most people think it's his only record! It must be posted there DOZENS of times and parodied at least half a dozen times over the decades! I've even seen a parody of it performed live at the local Furries convention 8 years ago! [YouTube Video] The year before this album came out, IX Chains practically released the exact same album.

Break-In Master 31st May 2018		Vinyl Album Dickie Goodman - Screwy T.V.	I'm guessing, but I'm pretty sure that's Dickie (it looks like his hair) and his wife, Susan on the cover. There was actually no artist given on the album, but it IS Dickie Goodman. If you (mods) want to change it to No Artist Given, go right ahead. It WOULD be nice, though, if you could find a way to associate it with Dickie. Although a few of these have the same titles as some of his break-ins, these are not break-ins! As is noted on the entry here of, "My Son The Joke", it's very possible the audience on both of these albums is a laugh track added later because they sound exactly like the same group of people on both albums. Break-In Master 31st May 2018		Vinyl Album Dickie Goodman - My Son The Joke (Risque-Theque)	Review This was Dickie's attempt to parody and capitalize on the Allan Sherman albums that were very popular at this time, although, Dickie re-wrote all these songs with a decidedly pornographic bent. I don't recall there being any dirty words used, though. For some reason, he decided to sing these with a bit of a Jewish accent which, in my opinion, cheapened them even more. But, Jew humor was very popular back then, too. In some cases, it's almost embarrassing to listen to, and I'm almost NEVER embarrassed!! When the album was released, it flopped miserably and Dickie vowed never to copy someone else's style again! What's very strange is that 10 years later, he recorded another VERY bawdy album called, "Screwy T.V.", in which he did extremely raunchy parodies of t.v. shows of the day (All In The Family", "Marcus Welby, M.D.", "Bonanza", etc.), INCLUDING lots of dirty words! But, somehow, he had all of the same people in the audience doing the laughing!! I haven't yet bothered to compare them to see if it IS a laugh track he added, but the chances are pretty good that he did. In order of appearance on the album, these are the songs parodied on the album. Frere Jacques Cool Water Track 3 was a collection of very short parodies usually only one to 4 lines of each song, much like Allan Sherman's bit, "Shticks Of One". Break-In Master 27th May 2018		CD Album Solar Quest - Orgship	Review This album is GREAT to listen to at night with all (or most) of the lights out, especially in bed with someone you love, as long as they like this kind of stuff, too! There IS one track I tend to skip, though. Not because it's a bad track, the whole album is great. It's just that, the first two tracks spend nearly 20:00 getting you onto a nice mellow mood, then the third track starts with this loud alarm sound buzzing away for the first few moments and RIPS you right out of that mood!! "Requiem" is a REALLY nice minor key piece! If you're into minor key stuff, this might even induce a tear from your eye! It's not sad, it's just done in such a way that it's quite strong, emotionally. "The Belle Of Atlantis" has a really cool bass line to it that keeps switching back & forth. At the end of one line, there'll be two notes played one right after the other, at the end of the next line, you hear both notes played as one, at the end of the next line, those two notes are played separately again, but this time, there's a wider space between them and they're played off the beat! "Singtree" is probably the most mellow piece on the album! One thing that helps make it that way is the sound. I don't think there is any tape hiss on it, but sure sounds like there's a lot! Also, although there's not much deep bass on it, it CAN shake things a bit. And that's from one of the much higher droning notes! SPOILER ALERT! Don't read this next bit if you want to just experience the album for yourself and be surprised, but, "Liquid Sky" has two parts in it where it sounds like the tape it's recorded on slips partway off the heads! After a few bars, it goes back to normal. They had 8:15 left on the CD, I wish they would've filled them! 4 people found this review helpful. ✔︎ Helpful Review?
Break-In Master 27th May 2018		CD Album Solar Quest - Sola Luna	Review It's a good album. I like it, but, it's not quite as good as their "Orgship" album. For me, there's something missing. It just doesn't have the feeling the first album did. It's really nice to listen to, but, because of what's missing, it makes it kind of annoying to listen to. For me, anyway. Break-In Master 27th May 2018		CD Album Solar Quest - Sola Luna	This album is laid out kinda like Indian classical music: Morning ragas should only be played in the morning, afternoon ragas should only be played in the afternoon, etc.. In as such, the CD titled, "Sola" should only be played in the daytime and the CD titled, "Luna" should only be listened to at night. Break-In Master 27th May 2018		CD Album Solar Quest - Orgship	Info on this says it was released in 1994, but my ex-fiancé had a copy in at least late `92!! I met her in Aug. `91 and we moved in together a few months later. We stayed in that apartment until April `93. It was in that apartment where we both first heard this album and fell in love with it! We played it almost every night when we went to bed. Apr. `93 we moved into a sublet that didn't last more than a month. I remember walking down the street from there with a friend I hadn't seen in a decade and she asked what I thought of David Koresh. He had just died in April `93. In May, we moved into a another that eventually became her apartment where she lived until we broke up in late `01 and she went back to India a year later. So, how can this be a `94 release when we had a copy at least as far back as late `92?

On the original, shown here, track B1 is called, "A Day In The Life". Apparently, The Beatles, or their publishers had a problem with that, so, to refrain from legal hassles, the title was changed on the second version, but the song remains the same. (I hope Led Zeppelin won't sue me for that!)
