Break-In Master 10th Nov 2023		Vinyl Album Various Artists - Woodstock	Anyone who might enjoy it should visit Chris Allen's Woodstock web site. It's got a more correct listing of the times each artist played and for how long, a really nice poster you can order from him (only 1000 copies printed and each is hand numbered by Chris), links to probably dozens of Woodstock-related info sites and a page of all the recordings that took place at the show that weekend. That list was compiled by me! Woodstock site.. (A link to Chris's main page is in the upper left corner on this page.)

Break-In Master 6th Nov 2023		Vinyl Album Shel Silverstein - Songs And Stories	Are you SURE this was out in AUGUST `78?? I ask because, I worked at Cedar Point that summer starting July 5th and going to Sept. 28th and I'm SURE I had a copy of this album BEFORE I went out there!! In fact, when I first came to this page and saw the album cover, I was IMMEDIATELY reminded of being at Cedar Point and mentioning the smoke-off to some people that were living there with me.

So, if you record any random noises you want, stamp them into a sheet of plastic and label it as "psychedelic", people will clamour for it! I'll have to try that, sometime! I really need the cash, right now! I'm more than half way into it and it sounds almost exactly like anything Acid Mother Temple ever put out. OOO! Something resembling a song!! Pink Stainless Tail. Break-In Master 9th Oct 2023		Vinyl Album Len Maxwell - Meanwhile "Back At The LBJ Ranch!"	Well, having just heard it twice, I've got it pegged to very early `66. The operation in Nov. was one clue, another was the mention of Lindsay having just been elected mayor of New York which happened around the time as the operation and the way Len mentions it makes me think, Jan. or Feb. `66. As there's no mention of Christmas anywhere, that might also be a clue that it was after Christmas. Sadly, as it skips 3 times on side one missing one punchline and one entire joke, I'd hasten trying to post it to YT (I've never done that before) which would allow me to post it here. I've finally found several copies and, as soon as I can get one mailed to me and recorded to CD, I'll see what I can do to post it here. Maybe someone else can come up with more clues to pinpoint it even further by listening to it. I found this recording on Internet Archive last night. As the Earle Doud album, "Welcome To The L.B.J. Ranch!" came out summer `65, I have to wonder if this title, "Meanwhile, BACK At The L.B.J. Ranch!" could mean it was intended as a kind of follow-up.
Break-In Master 8th Oct 2023		Vinyl Album Len Maxwell - Meanwhile "Back At The LBJ Ranch!"	I just heard the bulk of a recording of it (it skipped 3 times on side 1) and it seems be either from VERY late `65 or early `66. It mentions LBJ's recent surgery, which took place Friday, Nov. 8th in `65. As the album is centered around a bar-b-que at LBJ's ranch, including swimming, I MIGHT think it's from spring of `66, unless it's warm enough in the winter in Texas for swimming.

Break-In Master 30th Sep 2023		Vinyl Album Charles Manson - Lie	I'm watching a documentary on Manson right now and the guy that mixed the album said (just seconds ago) that there were only 300 copies made. Also, if it doesn't have a yellow label, it's a bootleg. It looks to me like that album was pressed at Monarch. As for the recordings, all he said was that they were made at Goldstar. The record number on the B-side is B-22145 so, I'm guessing that, since there are no record numbers on it besides that, that's just the master/matrix number for that side.
Break-In Master 26th Sep 2023		Vinyl Album The Mission [70s] - Virgin: A Rock Opera	Added front cover and other pictures from the album. The back of the box is just black. The cross on the cover is slightly lenticular and each of the successive crosses in it change hue depending on how you tilt the cover.

Break-In Master 7th Sep 2023		Vinyl Album Raiders - Collage	I wonder why this album is so difficult to find these days? I started collecting their Columbia output in the mid `80's and never had a problem finding any of them except for this album! The one I've got is a slightly beat radio station copy that came from a local college radio station in the mid `80's. I still haven't been able to find a nice copy. I even have 2 copies of the Christmas album and two of their earlier albums ("Revolution!" and "Goin' To Memphis") on pre-recorded open reel tapes! There were at least 3 singles from this album! It SHOULDN'T be that hard to find..

Break-In Master 12th Aug 2023		Vinyl Album Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida	90% of what I hear today pretending to be drums (electronic hand claps, electronic snaps, electric typewriter styled trap cymbals) is all over everything anymore!! What kind of cheapo battery operated children's toys do they use to make that shit? I'd like to hear somebody use that $10.00 Casiotone rhythm machine to perform the drum solo, note for note, on this album! That would be funny as hell!!

Break-In Master 10th Aug 2023		CD Album The Beatles - The Beatles White Album Sessions Chronology Volume One	For anybody interested, they didn't repeat the actual song titles on each track, they listed the song title in thick bold ink and then, in thinner, smaller letters below that, listed the particulars of each track recorded for the session with that song. That's why, on track 2-44, "Blackbird" is in there twice in a row, they gave that particular take that title because it was one of 2 songs Paul played during that take. I just felt that some people might not understand that all those takes were part of the actual song they were from if I JUST listed the takes without the song title. It's kinda like how, at least 15 years ago, a friend of mine wanted a copy of my break-in list. I keep them in release order but, he just couldn't understand it that way and wanted it in alphabetic order according to artist! I don't see why release order couldn't be understood and, to me, the way he wanted it would be very confusing because most break-in artists use fake names so, I have no idea if I should use the first name, last name, real name, etc.. Some people would've had no trouble with the track listing without the root title, others wouldn't know what the hell was going on. So, just to be on the safe side, I gave each track here its root title and then the track name. As they never bothered to use parenthesis on those, I didn't bother, either. Normally, I would but, I was going for: "as it appears on the CD".

BUT, there are two tracks missing on CD 1 and there's one very minor mistake The number at the end of track 32. should be 1, as in: "Tape Loop 1".. Track 33 should say, "Tape Loop 2" Track 34. should say: "Dialogue 7". So, if you just shove what you have in 33 and 34 down two slots and wedge these 33 and 34 in, that's it. CD 2 seems to be okay.

Break-In Master 8th Aug 2023		CD Album The Beatles - The Beatles White Album Sessions Chronology Volume One	CD 1 should have about 36 tracks and CD 2 should have 60. If you can't find them, I'll add them later. When filling out the form, I listed them all in the Comments section but, even that couldn't take them all so, I deleted at least the last 10 of CD 2 and added those in the Make Corrections block..
