Additionally, a lyric sheet was provided within the gatefold sleeve. However, it could not be scanned without the potential of compromising the integrity of the sleeve.

BEAR FAMILY RECORDS GMBH release
BEAR FAMILY RECORDS/POLYDOR label

The above release is the most ambitious vinyl product to be found in her catalog. Appearing on an ingeniously designed YELLOW/BLACK label so as to resemble original MGM records, the Bear Family logo is placed on top center in the position once occupied by Metro's famous lion, and that of Polydor within a solid black bar like M-G-M of the forties and fifties. The 8-LP boxed set features 133 selections, more than 20 of which had never before been released, and is the definitive German language collection. As well as the German tracks, the set also includes the few cut by Connie in Swedish and Dutch. A unique aspect of this release is that it contains every 1960-1968 MGM recording in German, the 1970 titles cut specifically for Polydor in Germany, 1978 United Artists overdubs, 1978 independent German sessions and 1982 independent German sessions. Each album is contained in a different full color picture sleeve, matching in design liners of which provide reproductions of picture sleeves to original singles, album covers and photographs of the period. The set also comes with a 112-page book titled CONNIE FRANCIS IN DEUTCHLAND/HOLLAND & SCHWEDEN, which has been given its own "number" of BFP 10012 and is crammed with rare pictures, articles, chronological details of German recording sessions, discography of German language LP/CD releases and alphabetical listing and release history of each individual title. Individual albums are numbered BFX 15305-1 through BFX 15308-8, but spine of box inexplicably lists overall number as BFX 15305[9].

BERTELSMANN BOOK & RECORD CLUB release
POLYDOR label

The above is a 10" album, and an LP of several "firsts". The first exclusive German record club release, it also marked Connie's album debut on the Polydor label and was the first to include both English and German vocals. It was marketed by the Bertelsmann Book & Record Club, a subsidiary of the now giant Bertelsmann Music Group (BMG).

No further mixed English/German albums were released until the ill-fated POLYDOR 2475 731 EINE INSEL FUR ZWEI...CONNIE FRANCIS: IHRE 20 GROSSTEN HITS, since then there have been several.

DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON GESELLSCHAFT release
Karussell label - GOLD-SERIE series

Karussell, once "merely" a record label, is now a fully fledged company in its own right. In an attempt to simplify the situation and group Karussell releases together, this is regarded as being a Deutsche Grammophon/Polydor associate. The above release was issued by Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft as one of a Karussell Gold-Serie range of releases and features a GOLD/BLACK/WHITE label used for medium price product. Budget issues were marketed on a RED/WHITE/BLACK design. In 1981, Karussell became an "independent" subsidiary and introduced a new RED/BLACK vinyl label on its medium price range of reissue material culled from the catalogs of Polydor/DGG, Phonogram and Metronome. By the Nineties, the company was known as Karussell Musik & Video GmbH and sub-licensing additional material, including Connie's 1989 Malaco recordings, via Britain's Prism Leisure Corporation.
