Father of Michel Polnareff who kept the family name despite his father changing it for his own career. His real name was Leib Polnareff.

This cover has the Transatlantic catalogue number on it. So it belongs with another version (image now moved. mod.)

Richard Thompson - 1000 Years Of Popular Music
Richard Thompson is US based now and his Beeswing label is very much based there too. All issues produced by Beeswing are essentially US issues but distributed worldwide.

Kanerien Bro Leon Landivizio - Toussaint En Bretagne
I believe that this might have also been issued by Mouez-Breiz. Can anyone confirm?

Carmen - Fandangos In Space
There's also a relationship with Jethro Tull, given their bass player John Glascock and a similar change of tempo that regularly occurs in Thick As A Brick and Passion Play.

The Nashville Gamblers - The Original Country & Western Music
My issue might make the yellow label the 4th issue rather than the 3rd?

Another variant has the red & white label with writing going around the top as with the yellow label.

The artists seem to be The Nashville Gamblers - The Westward Wanderers

Perhaps two groups? Perhaps one?

It's always a problem when the sleeve details don't really match at all the labels. There are different names given for the groups and for the track listing.

Raymond Smyth And The Raheny Band - Golden Memories Of Our Land
Labels were clearly borrowed from the stock which was used by Outlet & Homespun.

Louis Killen, Johnny Handle And Colin Ross - Along The Coaly Tyne
These recordings were originally issued by Topic in 1962 on a number of their EPs. This issue however, dates from about 1968. The blue label wasn't introduced til 1964 and I think this must be 1968 or 1969 at latest.

Jim McCann - Jim McCann
This LP was late in the catalogue so had the brown label to begin with and then since it remained in catalogue, also went onto the later white label.

Both issues were on the hessian-textured sleeve.

I'm assuming MR told the catalogue what kind of record it was. "Messe Réligieuse" I think,
perhaps.

Although no name is given on the LP label or sleeve, it is, in fact Hugh McNeil who sings on this LP.

[no artist listed] - Marching On The Twelfth With Famous Ulster Bands
I don't think they're all double albums (see DULP 10). I've just incorporated Soccer Records within the Ulster label, which is a bit odd because it is a Scottish football double LP. Then again, it's Glasgow which is a bit of an extension of Northern Ireland if you know the history of the two football clubs found there.

Bearing in mind that almost all of the records on the back of the sleeve are on the Outlet label, we're no' doin' bad!

I see on the back of the sleeve, the Outlet label mostly but there are also the other sub-labels of Praise (we already have many of those) and Homespun. The latter label had well over a hundred LPs so we have some way to go but we've already made a good start.

Hughie Gallagher And Hugh McNeil - Celtic We Are The Bhoys
The catalogue number belongs to a specific label owned by Outlet. It was the Ulster label and so with this catalogue number it fits neatly within the Ulster label. I'll add links and incorporate Soccer Records within the Ulster label.

Per Guillou Et Yann Peron - 1ère Prix Au Concours Des Sonneurs Des Fêtes De Cornouaille 1961
Here known as Per Guillou but on other Mouez Breiz records he is also known as Pierre Guillou. Per is the Breton for Pierre, obvs.

CRO2 is not the catalogue number but Chromium Dioxide. The Tape method. It's not CR02 but CRO2 CR for Chrome in the Periodic Table and O2 for an oxygen molecule made up of two Oxygen atoms.

Jan Dukes De Grey - Mice And Rats In The Loft
Numerically, I think it was Gian Paolo. I've never seen the purple logo on this record. However it's difficult to say in which exact order the records were issued since it doesn't automatically follow the numerical order of the catalogue number.

Motörhead - No Sleep 'til Hammersmith
I've got a feeling that although these red labels were made in France, it was actually for the UK market. If it was made late on, UK labels used France to make their records to be sold in the UK. The French issue would have been on the yellow Bronze label with SACEM rights collection badge.

(Red labels now moved to the UK version) Note that the French issue never had BRON as a prefix.
