GEMSMFAN 13th May 2015		TV All In The Family (1971 - 1979)	I've got all the seasons of this. It is amazing what Norman Lear managed to show in this sitcom. A very funny show back then, that "today" wouldn't be possible with all the sensitivity against "race" and "religion". Times were simpler back then and this show luckily made fun of everything and didn't pinpoint on just any one thing.

GEMSMFAN 11th May 2015		TV Happy Days (1974 - 1984)	shown on the ABC-TV network, on Tuesday nights (8:00pm, EST) The show actually was inspired from another show called, "Love American Style" which consisted of a few short "Love" stories with the story "Love and the Happy Days" (Season 3, Episode 22, shown on February 25, 1972) which starred, Ron Howard (as Richie Cunningham), Marion Ross (as Marion Cunningham) and Anson Williams (as Warren "Potsie" Weber). The other characters were played by others.. Harold Gould played Howard Cunningham. Spinoffs: "Laverne & Shirley", "Joanie Loves Chacci" and "Mork & Mindy"

GEMSMFAN 30th Apr 2015		Live Music Stryper @ Nassau Community College	A very odd match... Stryper in 1985 was a Christian metal band, who would throw miniature Bibles into the crowd. Hitman was a local indie secular metal band. The audience was a mixed crowd. The concert was General Admission (no seating) and held at the college community center. The added image, ticket stub shows very little info. Unfortunately.. early on ushers/ticket takers were very sloppy at separating tickets and would tear more than they were supposed to. Now you or ushers scan tickets, keeping the whole ticket intact.
