I'm just curious... because by 1989 Polar was sold to Polydor and ABBA were NOT on Atlantic anymore. In 1989, the ABBA releases were international on Polydor which made every ABBA album available all over, including Ring Ring, which was never released in the U.S. before 1989. 1986 what I submitted makes more sense as it was around then that Atlantic switched pressing by PolyGram in West Germany to a the U.S. by their own WEA Manufacturing Inc.. I provided a website which reviewed all the early ABBA pressings (Mar. 27 comment link).

Warner Bros., Elektra/Asylum, Atlantic labels released these and they were manufactured either in Japan or West Germany. Supposedly, I read the different colors indicated different music genres.

Music is added to new media (formats), but that doesn't make them reissues, unless they are deleted and issued again. I'll bet it's OOP status will fetch high prices for sellers, say on eBay. This actually is a compilation consisting of tracks from the two UK Arista albums, "Stray Cats" and "Gonna Ball", except for "Built For Speed" the title track.
