Jackson Browne - The Pretender
1976 is the original release year on the Asylum label. The MFSL release was released in Jan 1982. Note: Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab LP archive

Blondie - Parallel Lines
this is a USA release, not Japan. please see:
Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab official site
and all other 45worlds releases on this label 45worlds Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab USA page. they were all pressed in Japan, but that doesn't make them Japanese releases.

ABBA - Waterloo
I believe the labels with the darker color-black center-Polydor boxed in, were the 1st pressings.

ABBA - Honey Honey
The "Ring Ring" album with 2 changes: "Ring Ring (Bara Du Slogan Signal)" and "I Saw It In The Mirror" replaced by "She's My Kind Of Girl" and "Honey Honey". The original release of this was 1974 obviously, but the ABBA logo would mean it is a reissue released no earlier than 1976, when the logo first was printed. It's surprising that labels in many cases don't print the actual year of release, but rather copyright years.

Do note something, there is a 2nd catalog number, 2345 103 which is printed only on the record labels (left side).

Stray Cats - Built For Speed
It took 2 foreign albums released in the UK, before EMI would release this so-call compilation of tracks plus a few new ones, from these crooners here in the U.S. and being that they were a local band from Long Island.

Various Artists - Happy Days Fonzie Favorites
Track A1, although not mentioned, was the later version of theme and recorded by
Pratt & McClain with Brotherlove. That version was used at the start of the show and throughout most of the series' run. The lyrics were rewritten from the original 1974 Pratt & McClain version, which only was used during the end credits, as Bill Haley & His Comets' Rock Around The Clock, was the original opening theme.

Stray Cats - Stray Cats
The Stray Cats (from Massapequa, New York--on Long Island) and their Rockabilly style had to go to England to get noticed. They released 2 UK albums, before EMI, in the US signed them.

Notes should contain the following:

Side One / Side Six (Sides A / F)
Side Two / Side Five (Sides B / E)
Side Three / Side Four (Sides C / D)

formatted for use on a record changer, by flipping the stack over.

"Looking Back" was part of Motown's Anthology series, which were 3 record compilations assembled with hits, etc.

Various Artists - A Night At Studio 54
The records in this double LP were formatted for a record changer, Side 1 and 4 are back to back as well as Side 2 and 3. Possibly this was done to allow DJ's to mix between both records.

Joe Jackson - Blaze Of Glory
While the record itself is definitely a promo, A&M decided to use a commercial jacket (bar code for scanning a purchase). The gold embossed promo stamp wouldn't make this a promo, if the record labels had a commercial catalog number (without the "-DJ" added to the catalog number).

ABBA - Grandes Exitos
The only ABBA cover to include Stig Anderson, who was sometimes called "the fifth member of ABBA" (their manager... he cleverly named the group and was a major contributor to the group's earlier songwriting).

Björn And Benny, Agnetha And Frida - Ring Ring
this has to be a reissue, because in 1973 they weren't called "ABBA"... this might be 1974/1975 when they were referred as: ABBA (Björn Benny & Agnetha Frida). The first use of ABBA was in 1974. Your release might even be 1976, because ABBA only on labels. Like the Swedish LP (I entered), the original catalog number was still used.

Billy Joel - An Innocent Man
not a US release, CBS wasn't a U.S. label. Billy Joel was on Columbia in the U.S... and the catalog number definitely isn't U.S.

Check the record labels or back cover small print for correct Country.

Julio Iglesias - A Mis 33 Años
many of the 1980 Julio Iglesias albums were released earlier, on another label, some not in the USA. The Discos CBS International label debuted in 1980. Many of the artists on the label were either on Caytronics (which was distributed by CBS before 1980) or Discos Columbia.
Several of the Discos CBS International Julio LP's were simultaneously released on Columbia.
