jago125 18th Jun 2021 | | 78 RPMRudy Starita - Pu-leeze Mr. Hemingway / I Wonder How The Old Folks Are To-night | Nice to see a 4 in 1 occasionally!
The Silver Syncopators was a pseudonym for Syd Lipton's Band.
Balloons and Always ... were recorded: London December 30, 1932.
Pu-leeze and I wonder How..... recorded: London December 5, 1932.
The vocalists used on these four tracks were Sam Browne, Elsie Carlisle and Cyril Grantham - top vocalists of their day!
It does seem more likely that the year of release for this record was in 1933.
The Syd Lipton numbers were from their first recording session.
