Lindisfarne - C'mon Everybody
Corrections for composer credits A1-C5 would be in order!

Tim Moore - Tim Moore
I have a copy of this album on A Small Record Company label. The sleeve says 1972 but the label 1974.

Mungo Jerry - Boot Power
Album was reissued a few weeks later with a re-designed sleeve, after the Thomson Corporation claimed that the first design violated their copyright. Regret I don't have the redesign to upload myself!

Dave Edmunds And Love Sculpture - The Classic Tracks 1968
Good selection of tracks from both Love Sculpture albums plus some of Dave's subsequent singles after LS disbanded, including 'Down Down Down', a 1972 standalone 45 written by Trevor Burton, ex-Move. The labels are slightly inaccurate in that 'I Hear You Knocking' is Dave Edmunds Rockpile and should be dated 1970, while 'Down Down' and 'Promised Land', the latter only released as a single it appears in the Netherlands and Australia, were credited to him as a soloist. Not that it matters hugely!

Free - Highway
In retrospect this album seems to be well regarded by fans, although not the kind of 'heavyish blues rock' that might have been expected from the band who were known to nearly everyone as the 'All Right Now' quartet, and showing more of a Band (as in Robbie Robertson etc) influence. It didn't help them that 'Produced by Free' in smallish letters on the back of the UK sleeve (A&M got it right in the US) is the only clue as to who made the record, or at least to those who were not familiar with what they looked like!

Free - Tons Of Sobs
According to 'Heavy Load' biography of Free by David Clayton and Todd Smth, 'The Hunter' was recorded as a last-minute addition in December 1968. The album had been provisionally scheduled for November release, but was delayed until March 1969. Is it significant that none of the sleeve or label scans above show a date anywhere? My copy of the CD (a 2016 UMC reissue, sadly without bonus tracks) gives 1968 on the back.

McGuinness Flint - McGuinness Flint
Photographs of band and villagers in Victorian costume were taken at Brentor Church, west side of Dartmoor near Tavistock. Is it my imagination, or is the man on the right of the villagers Harold Wilson, Prime Minister 1964-70, 1974-76, or did they just superimpose his face on the image?

Steeleye Span - Tempted And Tried
Agreed - very minimalist. And I don't think minimalist suited Steeleye's music!
