Berliner Philharmoniker, Herbert Von Karajan - Ludwig Van Beethoven
This vinyl box-set was a unique and a succesful selling strategy of the Deutsche Grammophon Gesellschaft. They knew ordinary people couldn't afford a box with originally seven records. So they sold the records one by one. Each record also contains a voucher (coupon) for collecting the box. After five vouchers it was possible to buy the box with a unique serial number. This one is number XV 220, and,(for your information), they added one record extra for the same price to sustain their high standard recording standards.
The box included a 20 - page booklet about the history of the symphonies and the recording sessions, starting from 1961 till 1963.

Here is an example of the sixth symphony as a stereo record SLPM 138 805

The inner sleeves have a relief of the DGG logo at the upper right hand corner.

Aram Khachaturian Conducting The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra - Spartacus, Gayaneh
Although the SXL6000 series started on September 1962, the first issues were in October of that year (SXL6001 - 6003) as a successor of the SXL 2001 - 2316 serie (Decca Classical by Philip Stuart)

"Spartacus" was the music of the seventies TV-series "The Onedin Line", with Peter Gilmore as capt. James Onedin

London Symphony Orchestra - Symphonie Nr. 9 D-moll, Op. 125
Review
A record of the budget Decca Viva! series. The quality of the vinyl is very flexible (only 118 gr), and the dynamic range is reduced to nearly nothing to get the ninth symphony on one record.
"Alle Menschen werden Brüder" sounds like a children's choir on this record.
Sir Edward Lewis turned in his grave if he heard this. It's not Phase 4 Stereo worth....Well Decca in the early '80 wasn't Decca anymore

Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau With Gerald Moore (Piano) - Winterreise, Op 89 (D.911)
Unfortunately not. It is a re-release, under ALP.1298/1299, year of issue is 1958. This record is a later release, a resale issue as the text in the perimeter says.
But I do what you're doing too....Keep my peepers open......:)

Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau With Gerald Moore (Piano) - Winterreise, Op 89 (D.911)
Just read the "Winterreise" book written by Ian Bostridge. Amazing. Now you listen to the music and lyrics from another view. Beautiful interpretation of the work. Although it was really cold in those days because of the eruption of the Tambora vulcano in the Dutch East Indies (there was no summer in 1816), the lyrics ofWilhelm Müller are about the struggeling in men's life.

Carmen Cavallaro - Music From The Soundtrack Of The Picture "The Eddy Duchin Story"
In the lower left-hand corner of the cover is the 1956 American Decca release cat# noticed: DL 9121. So Coral used the same cover, of coarse without the Decca logo. Curious is that this record is made by Decca UK, see the inner sleeve (and the back of the cover).
The German Brunswick version has a slightly different sequence of the music tracks.

The radio on the front cover is a Philips B6X04A from 1960, a broadcast band receiver with a stereo 2 x 3 W valve amplifier (two EL84 valves and 800 Ohms 8" loudspeakers).
When you play the music not too loud, it gives a wonderful warm sound.
The songs are Dutch-language hits from the '60's

No, all Dutch Decca issues are coloured blue. Sometimes they used UK sleeves, like this one.
